Our next Barressential Luxury Retreat is scheduled to be held on the 16th, 17th & 18th of March, 2018 at the beautifully idyllic Thotalagala in the hill town of Haputale. The jewel in the crown of the GFH group that brought you Galle Fort Hotel - Thotalagala is an exquisitely restored 7 suite plantation bungalow set amidst a 4,000 acre working tea plantation.

The entire experience is geared towards minimal stress, providing you with the ideal environment to truly unplug, relax & restore. From your initial confirmation, we take the time to understand & cater to your needs - be it dietary or transportation - no request is too big or small!
Given the distance to Haputale, we believe a two night stay is ideal to truly immerse yourself in the beauty of our retreat location - however, we know time is sometimes a rare commodity, therefore alongside our standard two night offering, we are also offering those guests who only have limited time, the option of a one night stay. Regardless of when you arrive, your days have been designed to include elements of fitness, delectable cuisine, local activities and times of R&R.
We are opening this retreat to both male & female clients - as such, you are welcome to bring along your significant other, best bud, dad or brother for company! Our retreats have limited spaces available to ensure close community between guests and as such, we do recommend expressing your interest early to avoid disappointment!
